The Saxophone factory was first formed in 1998 by Martin Bradford and Rob Birchall under the working logo of ‘We Make Musicians’. Both Martin and Rob are saxophone teachers and working musicians in the South of England.
Martin’s pedigree as a saxophonist is of the highest order having worked with many top musicians. He has played all over the world with the likes of Tina Turner, Rose Royce, Van Morrison and Jools Holland.
In early 2001 they opened the doors of The Music Factory in Bournemouth and began to sell musical instruments to the surrounding area.
Our e-shop, The Saxophone Factory is a specialist division of The Music Factory and is dedicated purely to dealing with Martin’s area of expertise. We have personal and professional relationships with Dave Goodson, Tom Scott, “X Factor” star Julian Smith, Kenny G, Jules Holland and many other famous saxophonists.
We have twelve music teachers working full time within the business and as such have a vast knowledge of the instruments including saxophone, guitar, drum kit, bass. piano/keyboard, flute, clarinet and violin, the accessories available for these instruments and how they should be best played.
It is our aim to provide the best possible service to both the complete novice and the fully fledged professional players with a selection of the finest products available and premier level coaching and tuition at great prices.
