Emily Westwood
Emily has been involved in music from an early age, starting Drums at 4 years old, Flute at 8 and Saxophone at 10. She has an honours degree in music and whilst at University majored in Performance and played in a number of bands including the Uni’s Big Band.
Before University Emily also played with the Dorset Youth Jazz Orchestra and the Dorset Youth Percussion Ensemble as well as a local rock band and numerous pit orchestras. She has newly been appointed Head of Teaching and will be a main point of contact for schools. Emily teaches Drum Kit, Saxophone and Flute all to a Grade 8 standard.
