Steve Goodson Chateau (previously Vespro) Saxophones

We are more than ever convinced that the way to go in beginner horns is just for forget about them altogether. Beginner horns are hobbled horns, lacking in features compared to their higher-priced kin, lacking in intonation and power. Give a kid a tenor and he’ll be looking for a way to play Night Train, right? Those low B flats ought to be there somewhere for him! Why saddle the beginner to a featureless, voiceless instrument when you can grant him or her entry into the musical world? Hand a newcomer a horn capable of playing a gig and that newcomer will one day be playing gigs. Hand your newcomer a Chateau!
