Remarkable intonation and ease of play combined with a full, rich tone set this professional model soprano apart. Two interchangeable neckpipes, a Yanagisawa innovation, are supplied with this instrument, each imparting different response and tone characteristics. The straight neckpipe produces the traditional soprano sound whi;le the curved one a milder, mellower tone . Yanagisawa S-992 Soprano Saxophone
Owing to the instrument’s bronze construction, the timbre of the S-992 soprano saxophone takes on a gorgeous sweetness that can be easily distinguished at any dynamic and any range. Two interchangeable straight and curved neckpipes come standard, the straight producing the traditional soprano sound, the curved imparting an added warmth to tyhe instruments already mellow tone. Look for the same advancements, including improved intonation, as found in this model’s S-991 counterpart.
